Wooley Noodle
Wooley Noodle is a conceptual knitting kit company I developed for a packaging design project combining noodles and fiber arts.
Inspired by yarn bowls and dishes like Chicken Alfredo, Meatball Marinara, and Ramen, the packaging is designed to stand out on store shelves while remaining functional. Each kit features a crocheted lid that lets customers feel the yarn before purchasing, with a top opening for dispensing yarn and an elastic band for a secure, reusable fit.
Each kit includes yarn, stitch markers, knitting needles, and a pattern. Inspired by the popularity of beginner crochet kits like The Woobles, I identified a gap in the market for a beginner-friendly knitting kit with unique, themed, and easily recognized packaging.

The first label I came up with before adding the curve.

I did enjoy this, but then I realized it looked far too similar to The Woobles so I had to pivot.

As I reached a stalemate on the background, I decided to focus almost purely on type to see where that got me.
